The Fund for Folk Culture
This relatively young organization is one of the few national sources of funding for projects in folk culture. The Fund has called upon WolfBrown frequently for a variety of services, including planning, facilitation, and development of proposals. When the Fund needed help with planning to determine how to improve minority access to training and employment in the folk culture field, WolfBrown worked with an advisory committee and staff to develop a program and proposal for funding. The research and development process included a written survey, as well as interviews with key individuals. Among these individuals were foundation representatives, who discussed their potential interest in providing support for this kind of program.
